Bury made the trek to Clitheroe in North Lancs Two anxious to revenge a narrow early season defeat.
The visitors opened their account in the first minute with Tom Jones scoring in the corner for an unconverted try, after good work from Alex English, Chris Potts and Jonny Allen.
Almost from the restart, Bury extended their lead. Left wing Sam Ware made ground and launched a long kick into the left corner. From the resulting ruck, scrum-half Karl Simpson dodged over for a try. Bury were awarded a penalty on 20 minutes, which they converted.
Two more tries followed, the first of which was in the 22nd minute from a scrum 25 metres out. The ball was fed quickly cross field and wing Ware angled in to score a try and make the conversion possible.
Ten mintues later Bury repeated the move. This time wing Paul Kyle touched down for a converted try for a 27-point half-time lead.
The visitors scored early in the second period when some slack passing from the home side saw stand off Mark Campbell score a converted try. This proved to be the only score in the half.
This Saturday, Bury entertain Old Bedians at the Radcliffe Road ground, kick off 2.15pm.
