Bury have completed the signing of midfielder Brad Carroll from Lancaster City.
The 27-year-old made 37 appearances for the Dolly Blues last season and previously had spells with Barrow, Kendal, Clitheroe and Workington.
Dave McNabb is pleased to have secured the midfielder's services and reckons he will have a positive impact on and off the pitch.
He told the club website: “Quality in possession, he will help the team build and then sustain attacking possession. He is quick to press and recover the ball back on any turnovers.
"He's a very experienced non-league player who’s always communicating and organising. He’s a real leader and winner, on and off the pitch.”
Earlier this week, Bury announced the signing of experienced defender Macauley Wilson from Bamber Bridge.
There have been plenty of new additions at Gigg Lane this summer as the Shakers aim to bounce back from their penalty shoot-out heartbreak against Wythenshawe Town in the play-off final.
