Bury have made versatile full-back Bebeto Gomes their second signing of the day and fifth of the summer so far.
Born in Portugal, Gomes previously had spells with Stockport Town, Radcliffe and Avro before heading to Pilkington, where he was part of the NWCFL First Division title winning squad in 2023.
He also featured against the Shakers for Skelmersdale United last term and is comfortable in a number of roles on the pitch.
Manager Dave McNabb told the club website: “Bebeto is a versatile player who can play as a full-back on either side or higher up the pitch.
"He is a very attacking full-back with pace to burn. Extremely dynamic and powerful, he is capable of getting up and down the pitch consistently for the full 90 minutes.”
Earlier today, Bury confirmed the addition of left-back Will Calligan from Stockport Town. Ruben Jerome, Iyrwah Gooden and Tom Stewart have also been added to McNabb's squad ahead of the upcoming season.
