WALSHAW Sports return to pre-season training soon with a new management team in place ahead of the start of the Manchester League Premier Division campaign.
Co-manager Malc Quilty has become chairman with former Padiham boss and ex-Ramsbottom United player Craig Chadwick stepping in alongside Steve Richardson Former Rammy favourite Mike Langhorn has also taken over the role of head coach.
The youth team will be managed by Andy Pickford and coached by Jon Stevenson who has just returned from a two-year soccer scholarship in the United States. Ex-Blackpool and Chorley stalwart Simon Marsh will be stepping up to head all goalkeeping coaching at the club Any players wanting trial for the under-18s should contact Richardson on 07873 329981 or Chadwick 07834 145197.
