WILL Purser helped Bury GSOB stay top after a convincing victory against Old Mancunians.
He beat two men down the flank and crossed into the six-yard box for Spencer Woods to open the scoring after just 10 seconds.
Purser was provider again at the start of the second half when Liam Donnelly glanced in his corner to give Bury a two-goal cushion.
And with 15 minutes left, Simon Curtis made it three when he stabbed the ball home from close range after Old Mancs had failed to clear a corner to keep Old Boys flying high.
Bury’s next game is against Chew Moor Brook at Buckley Wells on February 12, kick-off 2.30pm.
