BURY GSOB fought out a goalless draw at home to Gregorians in a friendly in which they fielded players from both the first and second teams.
Bury had chances in the first half but were denied by solid defending and decent saves by the visitors’ keeper.
Bury made nine changes on the half hour mark with more wholesale changes made on 70 minutes to revert back to the starting line-up.
Gregorians’ threat increased in the final 20 minutes when Bury became increasingly reliant on goalkeeper Joel. But the Old Boys almost clinched victory in the final minutes when Williams had a rasping 30-yard shot saved, Aljoe hit the post and Croft had a shot blocked.
