Members of a junior football league are looking for support from the local footballing community as they unveil new development plans.
Bury and Radcliffe Junior Football League is hosting a meeting at Bury FC’s social club on Thursday, November 21 at 8pm, to encourage local teams to play their football in the long established league.
Bury & Radcliffe JFL has been providing Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon football in the area since 1975. It is run entirely by volunteers who have a strong commitment to providing the facility for a wide age range.
Carole Moran, from Bury & Radcliffe JFL said: “We want to get as many people as possible to attend the meeting, so that clubs or teams can speak to each other and us about what they want from a league.
"We are well supported by Lancashire FA in our endeavours to keep grassroots football in this area and a representative will be at the meeting.”
