TEENAGER Jordyn Fitton has been selected for the England Under-17s Colleges squad.

Radcliffe lad Fitton left Tottington High School in the summer before starting a national diploma course in football studies at Myerscough College near Preston.

The 17-year-old was immediately selected to play for the college’s Elite team alongside second and third year students.

His outstanding performances resulted in Fitton being put forward for the England U17s and he was selected as part of the 18-man squad.

Fitton will represent his country at fixtures across the UK and Europe, including a tour of Italy and a series of home international against other home nations, with detail of fixtures yet to be announced.
