THE two-leg final of the Bury League team knockout competition – sponsored by Lancashire Trade Frames Ltd – will be contended by Bury Snooker Club and Elton Liberal Club B after the final round-robin stage. Elton qualified the previous week in Group B and this week they continued where they left off with a whitewash of Walshaw Con Club A. In Group A, there were two contenders as Bury Snooker Club took on Normans Snooker Club. But, the result was decided after just one game as Jack McLaughlin recorded breaks of 59 and 37 to overwhelm Aaron Davies.
