ANDY Bishop should shake off a bout of flu in time to face Boston United on Saturday.
The Shakers striker missed the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy exit against Tranmere through illness, but looks set to reclaim his place up front for the vital clash at Gigg Lane.
Colin Woodthorpe had an X-ray on Wednesday morning to assess the damage done to his right shin in a challenge on Rovers midfielder Chris Shuker.
The veteran defender also jarred his knee in the challenge and is a major doubt for the Boston game.
The Pilgrims, two places below Bury, have won just twice in 14 games so far this season. They were beaten 2-0 by Brighton in midweek, but impressed in their last league outing, a 1-1 draw with Mansfield Town.
Glynn Hurst will be making his final appearance, at least for now, but Casper is still clinging to the hope that Gary Peters will decide he is surplus to requirements at Shrewsbury.
Hurst's loan deal expires after Saturday's game, where he will rejoin the queue of five recognised strikers on the Shrews books.
Peters stated earlier in the week that Hurst was expected back at training on Monday morning, but Casper was keen to stress that his permanent return was not a done deal.
"I don't know about that. Negotiations are still ongoing," he said.
"Gary Peters said he was willing to let him go, now he says he wants him back, so we'll have to wait and see what he decides."
