STAND will host a charity golf competition for Bury Hospice on Sunday.
Thirty six members of the club have entered the event which will adopt the Ryder Cup format.
It will be followed by a charity dinner with live music and auctions at night.
Tickets for the dinner are priced at £5, and all proceeds go to charity.
One of the two organisers of the event, Steven Burns, who is hoping to raise around £2,000 for Bury Hospice and Help for Heroes, said: “I got the idea last year when a group of us wanted to have a game and then a meal.
“So this year, we got more of us together, and decided to raise money for charity. We have had a fantastic response from everybody.”
