BURY Comets enjoyed an 86-63 victory at Heckmondwike in the Northern League on Sunday, with 11 winners out of 15 heats.
Chris Parish was in superb form, remaining unbeaten in his five rides and beating the Saints number one Darren Kent twice and impressive young Polish rider Pawel Idziorek three times.
Bury scorers: Chris Parish 19+1, Neil Howarth 14+4, Chris Dyson 14+1, Paul Dyson 13+1, Luke Jamson 8, Will Owens 6, James Elston 6+2 and Jamie Chester 5.
In a second team four-a-side challenge match, Bury won 45-35 over eight heats.
On Wednesday, the second round of the Manchester League Junior and Senior Grand Prix is at Goshen at 7pm, for all riders.
