AINSWORTH youngster Joshua Taylor is beginning to attract the attention of the best tennis coaches and administrators in the country.
The 10-year-old pupil at Bury Grammar Junior School represented England with distinction in a Tri-Nations tournament before impressing at the National Championships in Nottingham.
Joshua beat his Welsh opponent in the Tri-Nations, but could not prevent his team from sliding to defeat against Scotland.
However, his star continues to rise and he is preparing to play in the North of England Championships.
Joshua, whose sporting hero is Novak Djokovic, has been playing tennis since the age of six and is coached at Lancashire Health and Racket Club in Middleton.
