ALAN Knill is hoping to steal a march on his promotion rivals on Saturday.
Bury’s clash at Wycombe is likely to beat the weather courtesy of the undersoil heating at Adams Park, but the rest of the division could remain frozen out by the elements.
Victory over Wanderers could put the Shakers top of the League Two pile and Knill said: “We know it is going to be a very tough game but it is a good chance for us to get some points on the board. We are going there full of confidence and fully recharged after a bit of a break.”
Knill’s skipper Steven Schumacher has had time to recover from his ankle knock and he will return to the squad against the Chairboys, as will Damien Mozika who has now served a one-match suspension.
