YOU just can't keep Shakers' popular skipper Dave Challinor out of the headlines at present.
The former Tranmere and Stockport County defender has this week been named as Bury FC's best player so far this season by FourFourTwo magazine.
According to the soccer mag, Chally has played a key role for the club this term, according to editor Hugh Sleight.
Meanwhile, it's not just his ability on the pitch that is raising temperatures.
In Sunday's edition of The League Paper, local model Ruth Higham is pictured sporting a Bury shirt (and little else!) and explains why Chally is her Gigg Lane favourite.
"He's a brilliant player and, more importantly, he's absolutely gorgeous," said the 24-year-old blonde beauty who has appeared in TV's Dream Team.
"He's got a massive throw but I'm not surprised because his hands are like shovels and his thighs are like car tyres."
So, there you have it!
