DOMAINE Rouse has left Bury after the club and the player mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Shakers manager Alan Knill has finally lost patience with the striker after a succession of off-the-pitch problems.
The 20-year-old scored once in 12 appearances for the League Two outfit after coming through the youth system at Gigg Lane.
“I’m disappointed because the lad has got talent, but you need more than talent to progress in this game. You need to have the right attitude,” said Knill.
“He was given the chance last month and we thought he took it well, but then went and let himself down badly by being late for training on numerous occasions.
“Anyone involved in the club will know the problems we have had with Domaine over the years and he’s let himself down. We can’t go on giving him chance after chance to redeem himself.
“It finally came to a head and we made the decision that he should go elsewhere. I’m really disappointed because he has the potential, but you need the attitude as well, and sadly he didn’t show us that.”
