DANNY Racchi is the man to replace Elliott Bennett on the right wing for Bury this season, according to captain Paul Scott.
Bennett has returned to Wolves after a successful loan spell at Gigg Lane, and that has given 21-year-old Racchi the perfect opportunity to stake his claim for a starting spot.
“I was injured at the end of last season so I got to watch a lot from the stands, and I was impressed with Danny,” said Scott.
“We all wanted Elliott to stay, but he spent 18 months here and it’s now time for his career to move in another direction.
“We are lucky that Danny is in the squad because he can fill the breach. He did well when he came off the bench last season.”
