A second Radcliffe trio took on the Yorkshire Marathon on Sunday. Ian Swan was first for Radcliffe completing the 26.2 miles in 3:34:12, followed by Mia Derbyshire (3:53:11) and Kath Biddle (4:55:27).

There was a mass RAC turnout at Heaton Parkrun on Saturday morning for Mark Taylor’s 200th parkrun. He was joined by numerous club members, including Sarah Wilson, running with junior athlete Theo, Sharon Peterkin, who ran with her 13-year-old daughter, and Ross Calvert, who bagged himself a new PB in 26:05, with junior Matthew Calvert finishing in 27:29.

Also at Heaton Parkrun, junior member Aoife was celebrating a trio of milestones of her own - a 12th birthday, a 10th parkrun and a new PB of 35:26. Aoife was joined by the whole family, including mum, dad, and brother Ewan, who ran his debut parkrun in 29:56.

To round off a fantastic weekend of parkrun milestone achievements, Stephen Crowe ran his 150th parkrun at Zielony Jar, in Poland. This also completed his ‘Alphabeteer’, running a parkrun starting with every letter of the alphabet.
