Jason said: "We are delighted to be nominated for three separate categories in the Swim England North West Regional Awards 2024.
“I would like to thank all the swimmers' parents and guardians for taking the time to vote for Bury and Elton.
“We were not successful this time in making the shortlist, but this shows how a small local club from Bury can compete with the larger clubs in the North West."

Bury and Elton Amateur Swimming Club was founded in 1893 and swam out of the old Bury’s Victorian public baths, which was situated in St Mary’s Place, Bury.
The building itself was built in 1864 and served Bury and Elton well until 1976. It was in 1976 that the club moved to the Castle Leisure Centre.
The club has more than 110 members and are a not-for-profit and entirely self-funded and the nominations reflect the commitment that all the volunteers have to the club.
