Radcliffe AC was represented by five teams at the Northern Road Relays, with both ladies and men running legs of 5.6km around the two-lap Blackpool course.
In the first Radcliffe entry for eight years, many runners got a new personal-best time for the mile, or the 5km distance.
The first men’s team ran a combined total of six laps of the course in 2hrs 9mins 21secs.

The ladies had three teams present, with the first team finishing the four laps in 1:42:46.

There was a dynamic duo of Radcliffe men running the Warrington running festival Half Marathon last weekend, with Andrew O’Donnell finishing the 13.1 miles in 1:40:20, followed closely by Dominic Parry, in 1:40:57. Sara Parry ran the 10k distance at Warrington in 1:17:09, and the junior race featured Grace, Skyler and Heidi.
Elsewhere, Louise Shield ran the multi-terrain Thompson Millennium Green 10k in 1:04:50, and Michael Scott completed the Rochdale Harriers 5k Track Time Trial in 36:31.
