Radcliffe AC members were out in force last week- from Rochdale to Edinburgh.

Starting the five days of racing was the Pilgrims Cross fell race on Wednesday - a fell race with 6.5 miles distance and a climbing range of up to 1,300 feet.

First home for the club was Ian Swan in a time of 58mins 46secs, followed by Christopher Mihalyi in 1:05:04, Donna Cartwright (first in age group) in 1:05:06, Kathrine Davies, in 1:17:39, and Ethan Malone, in 1:33:14.

On Thursday, Mark Taylor ran the Cromwell 10k in Brighouse finishing in fifth place with a time of 45:25.

While on holiday in Edinburgh, Karen Doherty ran Caerketton Hill race on Friday - 3.6k with a climb of 300m. She also ran the Oldhamstocks flower hill race 6.6k with a climb of 200m.

Saturday saw the Blackpool ‘Run the Lights’ event - a very windy 5k which was ran by the Williams family duo, Mark and Grace. Mark came 13th in a field of 460 in 21:00 and Grace came in at 31:07.

On Sunday, 15 runners from Radcliffe AC ran the Piethorn 10k in Rochdale. First home for the club was Gary Adkins, in 45:14, followed by Ian Swan (49:11), Mark Taylor (51:13), Christopher Mihalyi (54:34), Jules Davis (55:16), Mark Garner (56:10), Neil Greenhalgh (59:09), Kathrine Davies (1:05:06), David Bartlett (1:05:18), Brennan Tighe (1:12:38), Lucy Tighe (1:12:45), Emma Wolstencroft (1:12:53), Helen Kay (1:23:14), Tracy Wroe (1:24:30) and Andy Wheeler in 1:39:17).

Elsewhere, Sheila Jones completed her 550th parkrun at Heaton Park.
