Two Radcliffe AC runners took on the Edenfield Fell Race last Sunday morning, performing well.
The race is an unforgiving 10km route that starts with a relentless uphill, before summiting both Cowpe Lowe and Whittle Hill, with a total elevation of 477 metres.
Ian Swan completed the distance in 1hr 2mins, while Andrew O’Donnell, running in his first ever fell race, finished in 1:08:56.
There were another two Radcliffe runners at the midweek Dovestone Diamond 10km trail race last week.
Adam Wills completed the scenic multi-terrain route in 52:00, while Karen Wells finished in a time of 1:02:06.
Elsewhere, the unstoppable Kath Biddle continued her tireless tour of half-marathons last week at the Jubilee Half Marathon.
Starting and finishing by crossing the River Mersey near Runcorn, Biddle completed her 125th half-marathon, in 99 different locations, in a time of 2:07:10.
Helen Kay was at Bushy Parkrun last weekend, the birthplace of the parkrun movement. Running Bushy event number 987, she was celebrating 14 years of personal participation in the movement which has helped to improve people’s mental and physical health in an inclusive and welcoming way for nearly 20 years.
