Lucia Cronin, of Bury Clarion Cycling Club said the sessions can help children to use their bikes correctly as well as give them confidence as new cyclists: “Young people nowadays don’t often get the chance to cycle in safe place, they normally have to go out with their parents.
“Often, they have new bikes and they grow out of them quickly. On out first session we will have a mechanic present to adjust their bikes.
“They’ll be able to get their confidence up and make new friends.”
The club has asked that parents accompany their child and bike to bullets sessions and that children are able to ride their bikes independently and without stabilisers, prior to attending the sessions.

Parents can feel welcome to come along to gain advice and support in how to get to this stage.
Children will have fun with their bikes and make new friends, with a large range of essential skills learnt through games and training techniques.
Children's bikes need to be set up carefully so they can pedal easily and comfortably, we can help with advice on this and much more on our club website at www.buryclarion.co.uk.
One-hour sessions start on Monday January, 22 at Bury Football Club and will take place every Monday.
