A trio of teenage fighters have been out representing Bury Amateur Boxing Club.
Nineteen-year-old Salus Price was boxing at Norbreck Castle, in Blackpool, against local opponent Mike Ross, from Fleetwood, at senior 65kg level.
Price was quick out of the blocks and his opponent was given a standing count in round one and another in the second before Ross’s corner threw in the towel.
Meanwhile, at Rainford Boxing Academy, Muhammed Eesa Jawad, aged 17, fought at 63kg and won on a split decision against Leon Moore, from Evolution ABC.
Stablemate Abdullah Akmal fought at 74kg, but the 16-year-old lost on a close split decision to Ryan Hughes from the Isle of Man.
