Phoenix club Bury AFC have reached a major milestone after hitting 1,000 members.
All of those who have signed up will be able to have their say in the running of the fan-owned community benefit society.
Votes so far have included to decide the club’s crest and kits.
Andy Welsh’s side made it two pre-season wins out of two on Saturday with a 2-1 win behind closed doors against Coppull United as they build up to their inaugural season in the North West Counties First Division North.
Jimmy Moore scored on his debut after being announced as the club’s latest signing with Sam Cook getting the winner from Adam McWilliam’s corner.
Central defender Moore most recently played for Trafford in the Northern Premier League North West Division.
“I’m proud to represent to Bury AFC and I’m very proud to be a part of the journey that this club is about to embark on,” said Moore, who was also part of the Runcorn Linnets side that won the NWCFL Premier Division in the 2017/18 season.
“I hope I can play a pivotal part in this club’s success right from the start.”
Welsh said: “When Jimmy came up on our radar it was a no brainer, someone who will lead by example.
“Talking with Jimmy he was unsure whether to continue this season but since training with us and seeing the set-up he wants to do things the right way and has experience of winning titles at the levels we will be competing at.”
