SBG Bury, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA club, got some expert tuition from John Kavanagh, world renowned head coach to Conor McGregor to celebrate the expansion of the new SBG Rochdale mixed martial arts gym – one of the largest facilities in the UK.
Kavanagh flew in from Dublin for the sold-out, standing-room-only event.
Head of SBG Bury, Glyn Powditch, said “SBG Bury travel every August to John Kavanagh’s gym in Dublin to train and this year he’s expanding to a new 15,000 square-feet facility which we’ve been invited to attend.
"It’s great to see John work with youngsters from the age of six and you can see how he has nurtured so many top UFC fighters including two-division champion McGregor.”
