BURY have released five players following relegation to League Two including Nathan Cameron, who captained the Shakers to promotion three years ago and spent five years at Gigg Lane in total.
Along with Cameron, Craig Jones, Andrew Tutte, Zeli Ismail and Chris Humphrey have also been deemed surplus to requirements by new permanent boss Ryan Lowe.
The total number of players departing Gigg Lane totals 11 with six loan players returning to their parent clubs.
Connor Ripley and George Miller head back to Middlesbrough, while James Hanson (Sheffield United), Josh Laurent (Wigan Athletic), Peter Clarke (Oldham Athletic) and Rohan Ince (Brighton) have all ended their Bury stay.
The news comes after Bury released their retained list today which sees Neil Danns, Joe Murphy and Greg Leigh offered new deals to stay and the club have also taken up an option to keep Scott Moloney.
Seventeen players remain under contract while, youth team scholars Dougie Nyaupembe, Saul Shotton and Wealth da Silva have been offered professional contracts.
