BURY Broncos' Under-14s clinched the Silver Salver League with two matches remaining following a 38-6 victory at home to Crosfields.
They ran in five tries before the break to storm into a 28-0 lead.
Play was more even in the second half as the Broncos contended with the slope.
Both sides fought hard, using all six tackles, before the home side broke to stretch their advantage.
And while the visitors clinched a try before the end, Bury added the final score of the afternoon.
The u10s also played well in an 18-12 defeat at home to Limehurst, with both matches takes place on the same day at the Broncos' home at Philips High School.
