BURY have given a trial to former Darlington full-back David Duke - a player once touted for a move to LA Galaxy.
The Scottish defender, who has also played for Swindon Town, opted for the rather less glamorous surroundings of Radcliffe to try and impress Chris Casper.
He was linked with a move to the MLS earlier this year, but is currently looking for a club after leaving the North-east.
Duke joined non-league players Jimmy Gaishen and Ben Leonard in the side against Boro on Tuesday night, and impressed Casper with their performances.
"They have shown a great attitude and workrate," he said. "We'll definitely be having another look at them."
