BURY have signed former Wigan academy forward Chris Sang on a two-year deal.
The striker made his debut in an unorthadox right-midfield role during last night’s friendly defeat to Sunderland.
The 18-year-old left the Latics after clinching the EFL Youth Alliance title last year but has no first-team appearances to his name.
Speaking of his latest addition to the squad, manager Lee Clark said: “Chris has missed most of this pre-season and the end of last season so he has come in a little shorter in terms of fitness.
"It (right midfield) wasn’t his normal position but we were overloaded with strikers.
“You’ll see good things from him when he’s in his normal position as a striker or a number 10.”
