BURY have signed Kean Bryan - the captain of Manchester City's development squad - on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old centre-back will bolster the Shakers defence but can also step into midfield if needed.
A statement from the club read: "Kean has chosen Bury over a host of clubs chasing his signature and will be an excellent acquisition to the squad.
"The England youth international has been with Manchester City from the age of 11 and has progressed through their system to make his under-18s debut at just 15 years old.
"Described as a box-to-box midfielder, who has transformed into a centre-back, Kean uses his strength in possession.
"He also has a vision and a passing ability that can influence games from the centre of the pitch.
"Armed with a powerful, long-range shot, the youngster also has a cool head from the spot.
"Involved in the Manchester City under-18s and Elite Development Squad, Kean also featured in the FA Youth Cup Final, the UEFA Youth League and the under-21 International Premier League Cup.
"Injury curtailed the early part of last season’s EDS campaign, but he returned towards the latter stages of the campaign to enjoy an impressive season."
