BURY will welcome Sheffield United to Gigg Lane in the second round of the FA Cup, if they can make it past Cambridge United in their rearranged first round tie.
The Shakers, who were the first ball picked out of the hat, would be guaranteed a big pay-day and a possible televised match if they can make it through to set up a tie against the League One strugglers.
Their first round clash against in-form Cambridge - who are the runaway leaders of the Skrill Premier - was postponed yesterday due to a waterlogged pitch and will be replayed on Tuesday, November 19, weather permitting.
If they are successful in that match then their home tie against the Blades would be played on Saturday, December 7, subject to any changes due to television requirements.
