NOT every member of the Bury squad will have welcomed last week’s sacking of Kevin Blackwell, but striker Shaun Harrad was certainly not complaining.

The 28-year-old former Burton Albion forward started the season as Blackwell's number one choice up front, before falling out of favour.

Ronnie Jepson recalled him to the starting line-up in his first two games in charge, handing Harrad only his second start at home on Tuesday night since the opening game of the season.

“Fed up is not the word,” admitted Harrad. “It’s just a pleasure to be back out there. I have been so hungry to get out there and I think it showed.”
