TOTTINGTON cyclist Sam Tomlins claimed the juvenile prize in the prestigious Ramsbottom Rake Hill Climb.
The 15-year-old Tottington High School pupil, pictured, took the honours at one of the toughest hill climbs in Lancashire, completing the 875m test in 3mins 10.08secs.
Sam rides for Bolton Hot Wheels and is a part of the Olympic Development Programme.
Bury Clarion won the team award with an average time of 3:05.06. Their fastest rider was Michael Humphreys who completed the climb in 2:46.06 and was accompanied in the victorious team by Joseph Cadwaller, Gareth Davies and Liam Shaw.
