TV news "anchorman" Andy Crane will get on board for Groundwork Bury's annual environmental awards dinner.
Andy, news presenter with Channel M and previously of BBC's Broom Cupboard, will host the event at the Longfield Suite in Prestwich on Thursday, November 23.
There have been some alterations to the awards categories, including the introduction of a diamond award for the overall champion selected from all the category winners.
The Groundwork awards aim to recognise the achievements throughout the Bury area in the local community, schools and businesses.
Each year, local organisations and businesses sponsor an award category and this year include Viridor Waste Management Ltd, Cocklestorm Fencing, Six Town Housing, JSM Estates, OLC (Europe) Ltd, ISM Waste Management Services and Bury Council.
