THE managing partner of one of the UK's most successful professional services firms will take the lid off his role at a conference of leading accountants.
Bury-based Keith Train, of DTE, has been invited to address 120 members of the Charter Group accountancy network as a guest speaker at its conference in Chester on Friday next week. He will discuss the opportunities and challenges resulting from DTE's decision five years ago to swap a traditional partnership framework for a more entrepreneurial limited company structure. Mr Train was asked to speak at the prestigious event as a result of DTE's strong growth over the last three years, which has seen the group enter the Top 30 "premier league" of leading UK firms.
The Charter Group, founded in 1986, currently has 47 member-firms with combined fee income of more than £134 million in 88 locations across the UK.
