MANCHESTER'S Holts Brewery, which has pubs throughout the Bury area, is "steaking" its claim for a top title!
The company has been selected as a semi-finalist in the National Steak Pie Competition 2007, organised by the English Beef and Lamb Executive.
Holts' homemade Steak & Holt's Ale Pie really caught the judges' attention. It must now make it past the mystery dining round to win through to the cook-off finals in London later this year.
