I AM a Manchester United fan and my two brothers-in-law are ardent Bury fans.
So Ian and Paul took me to Macclesfield's Moss Rose ground on Saturday to watch some proper' football.
What a great day!
Time to watch some bread and butter' football at tiny Moss Rose instead of going to the Theatre of Dreams to watch United.
I took off my United shirt and was given a Bury shirt for the day. The sun was shining - good job, as there was no roof!
Bury and Macclesfield are two of the poorest teams in the league, going off their league positions, but they served up a very entertaining game with five goals and plenty of skill and endeavour. I have to say I was impressed with the standard.
It was a great day out . . . and United won as well. I might even go again.
