WELL-known TV travel presenter Judith Chalmers will make Bury her destination next Wednesday.
The Manchester-born broadcaster will return to her roots to be guest of honour at a WA Shearings roadshow at the Elizabethan Suite at Bury Town Hall.
The event, of which the Bury Times is a media partner, will take place between 10am and 4pm and allow the public to find out more about the company's extensive range of holidays.
Shearings is the UK's leading operator in the over-50s market. Judith Chalmers is best known for presenting ITV's travel programme Wish You Were Here? Morning visitors to the roadshow will be given the chance to chat to Judith.
Karen Gee, sales and marketing director at WA Shearings said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for us to meet new and existing customers face-to-face and introduce our innovative new services. We are very excited to be working with one of travel's best known names to promote and endorse our new brochures and hope to see as many people as possible in Bury Town Hall on Wednesday."
Refreshments will be provided.
