Police have found a 14-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Bury.

Katie McCluney was reported missing from her home in Radcliffe on Sunday.

She was known to spend time in the Cheetham Hill area and police appealed for information as they sought assurance that she was safe.

Detective Constable Gemma Pickup from Bury Public Protection Investigation Unit said Katie’s family and friends were extremely worried about her and said police had been eager to speak to anyone who may have seen her and know where she was.

Officers put out a statement at 4.15pm today which said: "Police are no longer looking for 14-year-old girl Katie McCluney."
