MAY we be told how the authorities measure what amount the blue bins should contain?
Surely I am not the only person to have very little to put in? Except when cutting back in my garden or doing a lot of pruning, all my bins are less than a quarter full - and that applies to my blue bin for a whole month, never mind two weeks.
I have been recycling since the war; waste food goes in a compost bin for my garden, except chicken bones which go to a friend for a fox that visits her garden, plastic trays for plants, etc.
Am I to be penalised because there is very little in the blue bin?
