A PEDESTRIAN knocked down by a hit-and-run driver has died from his injuries.
The 24-year-old man was crossing Dumers Lane, in Radcliffe, at 8.50pm on Sunday when he was hit by a black Seat Altea near the junction with Morris Street.
He was taken to North Manchester General Hospital's intensive care unit for treatment but died this morning.
The car, which did not stop, was found abandoned shortly afterwards in Hampson Mill Lane, Bury.
Two women, aged 32 and 56, and a 25-year-old man, all from Salford, were arrested on Sunday night on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
