A 23-YEAR-OLD man from Radcliffe has died after his motorbike crashed in a field in Leicester.
Giuseppe Menga suffered fatal injuries after the yellow off-road motorcross bike crashed on Monday.
Police were called to the scene of the crash, on a field behind shops on Netherhall Road, just before noon.
Mr Menga was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary but later died from his injuries.
Police in Leicester are now investigating how the incident happened and are appealing for witnesses.
Sergeant Mark Botte, from Leicestershire Constabulary, said: “We would also like to appeal to anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything in connection with this or saw the motorcyclist prior to the collision to please contact us.”
