CAR care products manufacturer and distributor Tetrosyl has gone the extra mile by winning the prestigious Asda Supplier of the Year for Home and Leisure.
And the Bury firm has created a little piece of history by becoming the first automotive supplier to win the category.
The awards dinner, in Harrogate, was attended by 1,000 Asda suppliers.
Tetrosyl saw off strong competition from more than 200 other non-food suppliers to be crowned winner.
Mr Peter Schofield, chairman of the Bevis Green-based firm, said: “This achievement for Tetrosyl acknowledges that gi-ven tough economic conditions, business growth and brand development can be realised through providing above the line advertising and exceptional service, an app-roach that has always been at the forefront of Tetrosyl’s priorities.”
Mike Green, managing director, commented: “Being named as Supplier of the Year for Home and Leisure is especially rewarding, given the strong competition in this category and the fact an automotive supplier has never won it before.”
Tetrosyl, which exports to more than 75 countries, is the largest manufacturer and supplier of car care products in the UK.
With an annual turnover in excess of £100 million, the privately-owned company also specialises in oils and lubricants, refinishing and DIY products.
Success is not new to Tetrosyl who have consistently led the way with award-winning innovative products and brands such as T-Cut, CarPlan, Triplewax and Wonder Wheels.
