A FUN day is being held at the Jubilee Centre in Bury on Saturday.
Age UK Bury, formally known as Age Concern Bury, will mark the completion of its building extension at the venue in Mosley Avenue, an activity centre for people aged 50 and over. The event will herald its new title and a new partner, Age UK, to support work with older people in Bury.
The Mayor of Bury, Cllr Yvonne Creswell, will launch the day, with the theme “All good things come from Lancashire” at 11am.
Attractions include Tottington Public Band, Rossendale Heritage Clog Dancers and The Dinatones Morris Dancers, with displays from the centre’s Tai Chi and dancing classes, and a fire engine courtesy of Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
