POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a post office was robbed in Unsworth.
At about 2.25pm on Thursday, May 26, three or four men armed with crowbars and sticks went into Unsworth Post Office in Parr Lane and threatened staff.
They escaped with a quantity of cash in the same car that they arrived in. It left via Hollins Lane.
A Police spokeswoman said two people were injured during the raid and one of them was taken to Fairfield Hospital for treatment, but police could not say who the injured people were.
