WITH the recent bizarre introduction of Labour to Bury council, I’m sure many residents like myself are wondering how this will change our lives.
My main interest is the equal pay dispute which has gone on for too long already and cost the council astronomical amounts of wasted taxpayers’ money.
I recall the Labour element of Bury council continually badgering the Tories over the years to “stop dithering about and pay up and move on”.
If this was Labour policy then what do you think now Councillor Connolly?
Should I and my many colleagues look forward to our legally awarded payments or are we also “clutching at straws”?
