I WISH to praise the service I received at Greater Manchester Surgical Centre, a South African company based at the rear of Trafford General Hospital.
After initial consultation at Fairfield Hospital, Patient Care Service contacted me and asked if I wanted to be treated there within the next two weeks, transport provided (as I do not have my own). I was so pleased, I said yes.
What a breath of fresh air. The NHS should take note of their service. Nurses introduced themselves as did doctors, and said what position they held. I met the surgeon pre-op, had a quick chat with him in theatre, saw him the day after, and saw the same doctor at the post-op visit.
I arrived early for my appointments, and was actually seen within minutes, not having to sit around for hours in waiting rooms and corridors.
Everyone was polite and put me at my ease. Even the cleaners had a bit of a chat as they cleaned my spotless room.
I would like to thank them all, and if anyone is asked to attend this clinic, give it a go. I was amazed with the level of customer service they all provided. I'm one happy patient.
