REGARDING the letter from Bulldog Fireworks (Firework display was quite legal', Bury Times, August 17).
This company's representative has completely missed the point here. Most people enjoyed a good fireworks display, myself included, but not the excessive noise.
They were too loud! We thought there were bombs going off somewhere, and I would advise the company to tone down their displays in future. There are supposed to be restrictions on noise levels now, so I'm doubtful about it being legal.
It's not just animals who get distressed but humans too, and, if I require the services of a fireworks operator, I shall not be using Bulldog Fireworks, if that was an example of their work.
