The three Bury men were interviewed over the weekend and released on bail until September 19.
Two other men have since appeared before magistrates in Bolton charged in connection with the shooting. Mohammed Taymure Khan (23) of Hilden Street, Bolton, and Tanveer Akbar (26) of Castle Street, Bolton, have been charged with two counts of Section 18 wounding. Both were remanded in custody until November 3.
